How do I “unlock” Say the Time?

For versions 10, 9.x, 8.0 (2006), 7.0 (2005) and 6.0:

  1. Right-click on your taskbar clock to access the Say the Time menu.
  2. Point to Help, and then click Unlock and Activate.
  3. Enter your Customer Name and Serial Number as indicated in your email order receipt. You must enter these exactly as provided. Then, click on the Unlock and Activate button.

Your serial number can be found in the order confirmation email you received after you made your online purchase.

For version 5.0:

If you registered Say the Time right through the application, there is no need to enter your registration number — it was done automatically. However, if you ordered through the Provenio Store, just follow these steps:

  1. Right-click on your taskbar clock to access the Say the Time menu.
  2. Point to Help, and then click About Say the Time.
  3. Click Register, then click Enter Code.
  4. Enter your serial number exactly as it is provided, and then click OK.

Your registration number is the serial number or license number found in the order confirmation email you received after you made your online purchase.
